TERRY DAMERON, CHRISTIAN DAMERON & PETE AHERON(left to right) - Terry and Pete are well known Turkey masters of Henry Virginia and have hunted 5 times this Spring and have been part of 6 harvests. They also won the Spring Team award at the Local Turkey Freaks 1st annual Turkey Rodeo last weekend. On Tuesday 4/18/17 Terry and Pete took Terry's brother Christian along because he hadn't had a chance to go this spring yet. They tried a favorite spot at daylight and didn't hear anything so they moved to another spot and heard a bird about 500 yards away. Twenty four minutes later through 2 rye fields, across a river and up a hill they were able to get the gobbler to surrender to them at 17 yards and Christian did the rest. Great picture and hunt fella's! Franklin County is the county of harvest. Christian's bird weighed 21lbs 6oz, 1" spurs and a 9.5" beard.
