Venison Sausage Breakfast Caserole

INGREDIENTS:

* 4 pieces of bread

* 1 pond of venison sausage, browned

* 1 cup of cheddar cheese, grated

* 4 eggs

* 2 cups of milk

* 1 teaspoon salt

* (1) 4 ounce can of mushrooms, drained

* 1 tablespoon of butter

* Add pepper to taste

BAKE:

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Tear bread into pieces and place in the bottom of a 1-1/2 quart baking dish. Spread browned sausage over the bread and sprinkle with cheese. Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper; add mushrooms. Pour over sausage and bread and bake for 35 minutes. Seves 6.
